| Description: |
Tissue Factor, also known as coagulation Factor III or Thromboplastin, is a cell surface glycoprotein that binds Factor VII. The Tissue Factor / Factor VIIa complex initiates the extrinsic pathway of the coagulation cascade following vessel injury. The extra-cellular domain (amino acids 33-251) is expressed recombinantly with an N-terminal 6X-His tag in E. coli. Purified by chromatography then sterile filtered. >95percent pure by SDS-PAGE. |
