The sensitive measurement of functionally active human uPA is easily performed with this 96 well strip format ELISA kit. Active uPA binds to functionally active PAI-1 coated on the microtiter plate (patent pending). Only free active enzyme will react with the PAI-1 on the plate. Inactive or complexed enzyme will not be detected. An HRP detection system using TMB substrate is used for color development at 450nm. A standard calibration curve is prepared using dilutions of purified uPA and is measured along with the test samples. Cross-reactivity: 0percent Mouse UPA.
