NOTE: This kit has been reformulated and is now sensitive enough to measure active tPA in normal rat plasma (1.6 ng/ml).
The sensitive measurement of functionally active rat tPA is easily performed with this 96 well strip format ELISA kit. Active tPA will bind to biotinylated functionally active PAI-1 bound to the avidin coated microtiter plate. Only free active enzyme will react with the PAI-1 on the plate. Inactive or complexed enzyme will not be detected. An HRP detection system using TMB substrate is used for color development at 450nm. A standard
calibration curve is prepared using dilutions of purified tPA and is measured along with the test samples.
Suggested additional reagents: 10X Wash Buffer, TMB Substrate, Avidin Plate, Secondary Antibody
