Chromatographically purified from human leukocytes. The neutrophil form of elastase is 218 amino acids long, with two asparagine-linked carbohydrate chains. No detectable amounts of Cathepsin G or MPO. Activity >10 u/ml @ 37 C. Stability > 1 year at 4 C. Aliquot and freeze at -70 C for extended storage.
